Exhibition dedicated to 38th anniversary of ordination of Catholicos –Patriarch of All Georgia, the Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi and Metropolitan Bishop of Abkhazia and Bichvinta, His Holiness and Beatitude Illia II was organized in the hall of the Center of the Spiritual and Intellectual Development of Youth at the Patriarchate of Georgia on 25th of December, 2015. There was presented royal garment of the kings Vakhtang VI and Teimuraz II, made by Georgian manufacturers in 2013. There were also exhibited coverings of kings’ coffins, gilded fancy-works, ecclesiastic and secular things, Khevsurian embroidery, different types of garments and accessories, Georgian thick felt and batik, handmade dolls, icons, Georgian arms, paintings, wooden and stone carvings. Participants were the following: parochial schools at the Sioni Patriarchal Cathedral and the Holy Trinity Cathedral, a workshop “Shroshani” named after Saint King Tamar, art school of town Oni, public school named after Saint King Tamar, workshops of Tbilisi and masters from regions. Also there was exhibited embroidery of recently passed nun Tamar (Eter Urotadze). She had been sewing it until the last minutes of her life. The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the head of the Centre of Youth - metropolitan of Tsageri and Lentekhi Stefane (Kalaijishvili). The archpriest blessed the organizers and participants of the exhibition.
