At 14:00, on December 19, 2015 was organized the presentation of the first volume of a new book of Guram Dochanashvili “On a blind man, and…” at the Centre of Youth at the Patriarchate of Georgia. The event was attended by a head of Tbilisi City Hall Giorgi Alibegashvili, a president of the fund of Catholicos –Patriarch of All Georgia Lasha Jhvania, public figures, representatives of the sphere of culture, clergy and youth. The event was led by a poet Rati Amaglobeli. Archpriest Elise announced that Guram Dochanashvili is gifted by the Lord as he managed to create great book even at elder age. Archpriest also said that the author promised the patriarch to finish his work in two years, but in reality he needed much more, - 7 years to fulfill his work. The author had been lived in the Trinity Cathedral for two years to write the book. The public was informed that the book is based on a story of a blind man narrated in the Gospel. The thematic of the New Testament is familiar for Dochanashvili. His one more book “Samoseli Pirveli” is based on a dramatic parable of the Prodigal Son. The author remembered the period of creating his writing: “His Holiness used to advise me and gave the energy to write in my age. I’m glad to receive such a love from readers.
