The exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Tbilisi Municipal Art School # 1 named after Soliko Virsaladze was organized in the hall of the Center of the Spiritual and Intellectual Development of Youth at the Patriarchate of Georgia on 17th of December, 2015. There was also presented a catalogue dedicated to the anniversary of the same school. There were exhibited more than 200 works: paintings and drawings, thick felt, batik, art forgery, wooden works and handmade craftwork. There were also presented works of those pupils who participated at a project having been fulfilled on a basis of a memorandum registered between Tbilisi Municipal Art School # 1 named after Soliko Virsaladze and State Department of Veterans Affairs. Those pupils were financed to study at above mentioned school for one year. They are skilled at: painting, sculpture, wooden craft, textile treatment, the world history and folklore. At the event participated chorus of Veterans “Mshvidoba” (peace). The participants were awarded with memorial certificates. A director of Environmental Information and Education Centre Ia Papiashvili handed memorial certificate to 65 children of Art School # 1 named after Soliko Virsaladze for having participated at the projects announced by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. A deputy chairman of State Department of Veterans Affairs Jandri Ubiria handed certificates to 35 advanced children for having participated at joint project of Art School # 1 named after Soliko Virsaladze and State Department of Veterans Affairs. Memorial certificates received also a head of organizing group of the Centre of Youth Giorgi Phareshishvili and a director of Art School # 1 named after Soliko Virsaladze Ketevan Barnabishvili. Ketevan Barnabishvili presented memorial certificates and anniversary catalogues of the school to the pupils for advanced study and participation at the exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Tbilisi Municipal Art School # 1 named after Soliko Virsaladze.
